From the founder

The short version: if your first paid charge wasn’t what you expected, ask within 30 days and we’ll refund it. After that, every later charge has a 14-day refund window of its own — so a surprise renewal is recoverable too. EU and UK consumers get the 14-day statutory right of withdrawal regardless of those windows.

Refunds are processed through Paddle, who acts as our merchant of record. The full detail is below; if anything reads ambiguously, email us and we’ll clarify it in writing for you.

01

Who issues the refund#

Cedrus Pro Takeoff is operated by Cedrus Takeoffs, LLC, a Colorado limited-liability company at 1500 N Grant St #10453, Denver, CO 80203. Refunds are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (UK) or Paddle.com Inc.(US) as our merchant of record. You can request a refund through Paddle directly from the receipt email, or by emailing us — we’ll forward eligible requests through Paddle.

02

30-day window on the first paid charge#

If your first paid chargeisn’t what you expected, email us within 30 days and we’ll refund it in full to the original payment method. The 30-day window applies once per company and only to the first non-trial charge after sign-up.

The intent is simple: take a real swing at the product. If inside that month it doesn’t fit, we’ll give you the money back — no questions, no proration math.

First non-trial charge only. One per company.
03

14-day window on every subsequent charge#

Every charge after the first — monthly renewals, plan upgrades, annual renewals — carries its own 14-day refund window. If something went wrong with that specific billing event (you forgot to cancel, you weren’t aware of a renewal, an annual auto-renewed when you meant to step down to monthly), email us within 14 days of the charge and we’ll process the refund.

04

Trial conversions#

The Pro tier includes a 14-day free trial. No charge is taken during the trial, so there is nothing to refund. We email a reminder before the trial converts; if your card is charged at the end of the trial and the product isn’t a fit, the 30-day first-charge window applies — the trial period itself doesn’t consume any of those 30 days.

05

Annual subscriptions#

The 30-day window applies to your first annual purchase the same way it applies to monthly. After 30 days on the first purchase, or 14 days on subsequent annual renewals, annual subscriptions are non-refundable and not pro-rated. Cancellation stops the next renewal but doesn’t refund the unused portion of the current year. Access remains active through the end of the paid term.

06

Cancellations and downgrades#

You can cancel or downgrade at any time from the customer billing portal (linked from your account settings). Cancelling does not automatically issue a refund — it stops future renewals. Your data remains accessible during the remainder of the paid period and you can export it within 30 days of the period end.

07

EU statutory rights#

If you are a consumer located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive. This right applies regardless of the windows above and is fulfilled by Paddle as the merchant of record on our behalf. Contact us — or Paddle directly via the invoice you received — to exercise it.

EU & UK consumers: 14-day right of withdrawal applies regardless.
08

Chargebacks#

If something has gone wrong, please contact us first. Filing a chargeback in lieu of asking for a refund creates a dispute we have to defend through Paddle, and we may suspend access to the affected company while the dispute is in progress. We almost always resolve refund requests faster than the bank does.

How to request a refund#

Email support@cedrustakeoffs.com with:

  • The company name on the account
  • The Paddle transaction ID (visible on the invoice email Paddle sent at checkout)
  • A short note on what didn’t work

Eligible refunds are issued through Paddle within 5 business days. The refund returns to the original payment method; banks typically take another 3 to 10 business days to post it.
